I am trying to create a custom sensor file for CR9000x in Short Cut but without success.
I followed the steps from manual and from the support on this link https://www.campbellsci.com.au/blog/create-custom-sensors-short-cut
but I am not able to create it.
After choosing the datalogger with modules and slots, in the Sensors directory I don't have this folder that is mentioned everywhere "Generic Measurements". For Cr9000X instead of generic Measurements I have a folder Calculations and Control.
Can anyone help me how to create the custom sensor file for CR9000x. I am using BNC accelerometers and an impact hammer with module CR9052IEPE.

Unfortunately no sensor files have been written for Short Cut for the CR9052IEPE module. That's why only the "User Entered" calculation is showing up in the available sensors tree. If other modules were added, more sensors would show up in the available sensors tree.

If there are no sensor files, does this mean that I can not use either the module CR9052IEPE or the BNC accelerometers? Can you clarify it a litle bit more. Do you think is there a way to create sensor files for CR9052IEPE?
It's the first time I am using Campbell Scientific equipment, so I am not much familiar with the way how it works. I am just following their manuals for now.

You have the right hardware you need to measure the accellerometers. You just need the
right program now. Shortcut, with its Sensor files is can create a program for the CR9000X,
but not for the CR9052IEPE. There are other ways to create programs for the CR9000X that
will measure the BNC accellerometers on the CR9052IEPE card. So even though you can't
use ShortCut to do it, you can still do what you need to.
I'm going to recommend first that you contact your local Campbell Scientific support representative.
(i.e. who sold you the CR9052IEPE ?). Next I'm going to recommend that one of our CR9000X
experts contact you.
You can use the CRBasic Editor to write a program yourself that will measure the accellerometers.
Or you can use the ProgGen program generator utility to generate a program that will do this
for you. That utility has the comprehensive program generation capability and interface for the
CR9052IEPE and CR9052DC modules. It has been used by most customers with those
modules and I would recommend it in this case.

ProgGen is an updated version of the detailed program generator contained in PC9000 software (RTDAQ’s predecessor). ProgGen contains many measurement and setting windows for configuring almost any type of sensor. It is compatible only with the CR5000 and CR9000X dataloggers.
The CRBasic Editor provides sophisticated program editing capabilities. Programs generated by Short Cut and ProgGen can be edited in CRBasic.

If you have not been able to find a copy of LoggerNet, PC9000 or RTDaq in your department, there is a 30 day trial version of RTDaq available at the bottom of the page of the following link:

As I advised in our email correspondence, without one of the software packages mentioned above you will not be able to program the CR9000X to us teh CR9052IEPE card. Please let me know if you require an official quotation for RTDaq.

The previously forum referenced RTDAQ software has a CR9000X Program Generator tool that supports setting up measurements on CR9052 modules. The RTDAQ software is the best datalogger support software for high sample rate applications typical of the CR9000X and CR5000 dataloggers.
Similar to the ShortCut software the Program Generator provided by the RTDAQ software has a user interface to select and setup measurements, processing, and output data tables for the CRBasic datalogger program to run in the CR9000X datalogger.
