Instead of purchasing the entire 03001-L R. M. Young Wind Sentry Set, can I purchase just the Wind Sentry anemometer or Wind Sentry wind direction sensor to replace a bad unit from a previously purchased set?

The sensor could be sent in for repair if it isn't a total loss. Remember to call for an RMA (return material authorization) number before sending in the sensor.

  • Replacing the wind speed sensor:
    • Purchase a 03101-L to replace the anemometer. This unit comes with a pipe mount adapter that can be removed and used with the 40-cm Wind Sentry crossarm. Remember to purchase the correct cable length to match the damaged sensor.
  • Replacing the wind direction sensor
    • Additional options come with this sensor. Don't forget the cable length!
    • Purchase a 03301-L-NM for just the wind-direction sensor and cable.
    • Purchase a 03301-L-SM to add a wind-direction sensor to an existing 03101-L anemometer and the 40-cm Wind Sentry crossarm.
    • Purchase a 03301-L-P for a wind-direction sensor with a pipe-mount adapter.
