If the error message “The security code was not recognized by the station” is displayed in LoggerNet, or the error message “Unable to send the program. Invalid security code” is displayed in PC400, it may be necessary to update the data logger’s support software.
Using a CR1000 running Operating System Version Std.04 or later, the problem may be that LoggerNet or PC400 is interpreting the response from the data logger incorrectly. Confirm that the new data logger program is in the CR1000; typically, the table definitions can be updated and the problem is resolved.
