I have a monitoring project coming up and I am looking for a template for a program to run my ISCO6712 sampler, Sontek IQ and rain gauge from a CR800 series logger. I have all the associated cables, I was sent a couple of templates by a vender, but need to modify to include the IQ instead of a pressure transducer.
I am not a programmer by nature, so if someone has something I can use and make it easy enough for me to sub in the equipment I am using that would be great.

The SontekIQ has an SDI-12 output, and the pressure transducer probably was SDI-12 output also. You just need to check the order in which numbers come out of the SonTekIQ. The response to the SDI-12 commands will be in the manual for the sensor. Then adjust labels in your program, and possibly change which SDI-12 command you use.

The best verification is to put your program in a datalogger connected to the sensor. It won't damage anything if you made a mistake in your program.

I have a related question. I want to couple OBS 501 with ISCO 6712 and be able to download the data via the ISCO datalogger. What configuration programme do I use? I am neither a programmer but have so far follow manuals for both devices. I understand all the configuration programes in the OBS 501 manual are for Campbell Scientific Dataloggers. How do I proceed?
The ISCO will not measure a OBS501. A Campbell datalogger could both read the OBS501 and control the ISCO 6712. You would download data from the Campbell datalogger.

Is your system running well now? I'm also running a similar project which connecting an ISCO 3700 sampler, an ISCO 2150 flow module, and a tipping bucket rain gauge. I got a program from vendor which is working fine except 1 thing: there will be a 3-4 minutes data gap (or blackout period) right after the first sampling in ISCO sampler is triggered by C port where no data from flow module and rain gauge is recorded, not even timestamp. Did you or anybody experiencing the same situtation?
Anybody able to help me with this problem? Are we able to share the program here? Thank you very much.
