Connection with CR6 with Public IP address wireless in device configuration utility

Hi

I want to connect remotly my datalogger CR6 with Public IP Address wireless but I want to get in to device configuration utility. I see that in DCU there is an option "Use IP connection". Can I get connect with Public IP wireless to the datalogger?

Yes, just type in the IP address and the port number in the comport box.

For example     192.168.1.1:6785

ok you mean the connection in the device configuration utility is not only using cable but wireless with Public IP?

Yes, when you check the "Use IP Connection" box, you can use an IP address and IP port instead of a serial comport.
