  1. Our measurement and control peripherals, including SDMs, multiplexers, and Terminal Input Modules (TIMs), expand the measurement and control capabilities of the datalogger.

  2. A multiplexer allows switched excitation channels and analog inputs to be shared. By using one channel to measure multiple sensors, the number of sensors that can be measured increases.

  3. The CR200X-series and the retired CR200-series dataloggers are NOT compatible with SDMs or multiplexers. If more channels are needed or may be needed in the future, consider purchasing a CR800, CR850, or CR1000 instead.

  4. SDM refers to Synchronous Device for Measurement. SDMs expand digital control ports, analog output ports, and measurement capabilities. They are addressable devices, allowing more than one to be connected to a datalogger at the same time.
